Introduction
Teer is a traditional game of archery that is popular in the northeastern states of India, especially in Meghalaya. It is a form of lottery where people bet on the number of arrows that hit the target. The game is organized by various clubs and associations under the supervision of the state government.
Khanapara Teer is one of the most famous Teer games in Meghalaya. It is played in Khanapara, a town in the Ri Bhoi district near the border of Assam and Meghalaya. The game is held from Monday to Saturday (except holidays) at Them Marwet, a large open field where hundreds of archers shoot arrows at a circular target.
What is Khanapara Teer?
Khanapara Teer is a game of skill and luck that involves predicting the number of arrows that hit the target in two rounds. The first round (F/R) starts at 4:21 pm and the second round (S/R) starts at 5:05 pm. Each round has 50 archers who shoot 30 arrows each at the target. The target is made of hay and has a diameter of about 61 cm.

The number of arrows that hit the target in each round is counted by a group of judges and announced by a loudspeaker. The last two digits of the total number of arrows are declared as the result of that round. For example, if 1,264 arrows hit the target in the first round, then the result is 64. Similarly, if 1,061 arrows hit the target in the second round, then the result is 61.
The people who bet on the correct number or numbers win the prize money according to the ratio fixed by the organizers. The ratio varies from club to club and from day to day, but it is usually around 80:1 for a single number and 4:1 for a pair of numbers. For example, if you bet Rs. 100 on 64 in the first round and win, you will get Rs. 8,000 as the prize money. If you bet Rs. 100 on 64-61 as a pair and win both rounds, you will get Rs. 400 as the prize money.

Khanapara Teer Result is played by buying tickets from authorized agents or counters across Meghalaya and Assam. The tickets are available from morning till afternoon on the day of the game. The tickets have numbers from 00 to 99 printed on them. You can buy as many tickets as you want and choose any number or numbers to bet on.
